West Bridgewater, MA
A tiny town South of Boston, West Bridgewater is known for its rural New England small-town setting. The landscape of the town does much in the way of distinguishing WB as more of a village than a town; however, what really makes up WB's history is the people. Since its founding in the latter half of the 17th century, WB has participated in each part of our country's history, from Myles Standish's agreement with the local Native Americans, to the Sacco and Vinzetti trial, straight through to today. One must not forget, that the town's citizens are what give the town its history, and WB's residents have contributed a fascinatingly diverse historical background to the small New England town.
